The property is a late Victorian stone cottage which is typical in style of many old properties in the area. It has been newly refurbished and extended to provide modern facilities while still retaining a cosy cottage feeling. The Garden is a delight and always has something in bloom.

ACCOMMODATION


Upstairs there are two bedrooms:-
A Large double bedroom and a smaller twin room with two full size single divans. A newly appointed bathroom opening onto the landing lies between the two bedrooms. The stairs are fitted with safety gates at both upper and lower levels.

Downstairs on the ground floor is the third bedroom which is equiped with a king size divan.
There is a cosy lounge with a log burning stove, TV with freeview and DVD and a HiFi system.
In the new section of the cottage off the lounge is a well appointed kitchen, which has an electric stove, microwave oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
Adjacent to the kitchen there is a conservatory/ dining area with seating for 6 .
Also in this extension is a newly appointed shower room with shower, toilet and wash basin.

The cottage is provided with economy 7 heating and hot water, which is included in the rental price.

Beds will be ready made up on arrival ( towels can be provide on request at a small additional charge)

A cot and high chair are available on request

Parking There is off road parking for two medium size cars.

Grounds There is a large lawned area with flower beds, a patio with pinic table and an area for drying clothes with a rotary clothes line.

Pets. We regret no pets can be accommodated at the cottage.

Access Statement

The cottage is accessed via a gravel drive to the front door. The grounds are generally level with slope up to the lawned area.

* Entrance- step up to all external doorways. Front entrance doorway 770mm wide.
* Ground floor all on one level.
* King size double bedroom on ground floor.
* Shower room, toilet, Kitchen and dining area on ground floor in extension.
* Access to extension is via a doorway 700mm wide.
